Sure, you could jimmy the kernels off with your thumb (ouch) or the back of a spoon . . .. . . but if you’ve got a small, brown bag and a microwave . . .. . . trim the husks, put a cob in the bag (turns out a quart liquor bag is perfect) . . .. . . crimp it closed, and microwave on high for 90-120 seconds . . .. . . et voilà!Dress it however you like . . .. . . and dig in.
